Voga Italia Pinot Grigio Review

This week I decided to review Voga Italia Pinot Grigio. I found this at a supermarket in Scottsdale, Arizona called Fry’s. Originally $10.99, it was on sale for $8.99. I needed a bottle of wine for a holiday party and was so intrigued with the design of the bottle. What surprised me is that underneath the screw cap is a cork. The cap conveniently screws back on after you open it though. The notes in this wine are mainly pear and apple, with a tiny hint of lime and peach. Mild, and with a slight mineral taste, it balanced nicely with the floral aroma. This wine was fresh, light, crisp, and not to mention delicious! I would pair this Pinot Grigio with light seafood or chicken dishes. I must say though, it paired nicely with the assortment of holiday cookies I also brought to the party 😉
