Matua Sauvignon Blanc Review

Back at it again with the Sauvignon Blanc review! What can I say… I love what I love and at least I’m consistent? πŸ˜‚ This weeks Wine of the Week is a 2014 Matua Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough, New Zealand. Fun fact about this wine: Matua, back in 1974, was the first Sauvignon Blanc to be produced in New Zealand. Now Marlborough is famous for its Sauvignon Blanc wines! I found this bottle at QFC, a local grocery store chain in Seattle, WA (owned by Kroger) for around $7.99.

Notes:
Bright with herbs, sage, fresh mint and tropical fruits. Pineapple and citrus can be tasted in this wine as well.

Pairing:
Lemon and prawn risotto is recommended from http://www.matua.co.nz

Awards:
Matua has won many awards ranging from places such as Hong Kong, China, New York and many other places around the world. For more information visit http://www.matua.co.nz

Cheers, my fellow wine lovers!IMG_0615
